| Anna Paquin has been a New Zealand-Canadian TV and film actress for more than 20 years. Her films include The PianoFly Away Home and X-Men. The fate took over. The actress didn't intend to pursue a career in acting, but it did. After her breakthrough with her first film, she received many offers which she declined in order to focus on studying. After a successful debut film, at age 14, she was offered roles on Jane Eyre and the Fly Away Homefilms series. In 2000 she played the strong mutant Roguein the X-Men X-Men film series. The role she took upon landed her in the limelight. The actress reprised her role in the role of Roguein sequels like X2 and X-Men The Final Stand.She also made tiny screen appearances, including Elaine Goodalein in Bury My Heart at Wounded Kneefor which she was awarded her first Emmynomination. As soon as she started acting in TV series, she received a flood of requests. |
