Srushti started to get ready for her UPSC examination during her 3rd year as a student in engineering. She was unsure if engineering is the best career choice for her. Then, she realized that her passion was in civil service and decided to pursue the field. She was encouraged by her parents to pursue an employment in the civil service and to prepare for exams. Her motivation was constant and she concentrated on becoming IAS officer. IAS officer. For UPSC to be successful it is more work necessary. She would prepare for UPSC topics while studying her engineering. She allocated time for this exam preparation every day. She prepared for engineering tests in only 1 1/2 months and avoided social life as well as social media altogether. Her focus is crucial to be able to pass the examination to get a government job, and to be eligible for a job within the civil service. She worked hard to achieve her goal of passing the test at first attempt. In order to stay up-to-date on recent events she would regularly go through papers.
