Sutton Foster, an actor, singer, and dancer She has performed in a total of eleven Broadway shows, including the most recent revival of Violet. She also portrayed roles on Broadway as a singer, dancer and actor in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. The actress's Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Young Frankenstein. Sutton Foster first appeared in a television show on Star Search at age 15, and has more recently been seen as a character in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU as well as Royal Pains. As a solo artist, Sutton has performed across the country as well as internationally with their musical director Michael Rafter... featuring songs from her first solo CD "Wish" along with the follow-up CD "An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." Sutton Foster has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub among others. Ball State University conferred her with an Honorary PhD in the year 2011. In addition to being an instructor and advisor within the Department of Theatre and Dance She was also conferred this degree by Ball State University. In March of 2015 she has been a part of TVLand's brand new show "Younger" created by Darren Star.
